More 9/11 stuff. This guy had a tear tattooed on his face after losing someone. I hope I’ll never understand that. He didn’t speak much English, so he couldn’t really respond as reporters asked him for his story. Each time he would say that he was grateful for the heroes of 9/11 and that he wished he could give something back.
This was taken on Chambers street approaching the memorial site. Rudy Giuliani was reading something biblical about death and rebirth over a loudspeaker. The street was packed shoulder to shoulder, and everyone inside had to pass through a security checkpoint at Murray Street just to get here.
